In my latest ‘how to’ video I take you behind the scenes at my salon while I am creating the ultimate statement braid for my bride.
The statement braid has been in high demand this year as braids are super trendy right now. The braided hairstyle is not just for brides either, you can easily use ultimate statement braid on a client who is just going to a special occasion.
Note: If your client does not have as much hair but would still like a gorgeous statement braid, you must first sew in a pack of extensions. Then you can begin my tutorial.
The products I am using in the video are:
Laque Dentelle Hairspray from Kerastase | This is a light, flexible hairspray that is fused with a Vita Ciment Complex. It allows me build the hairstyle without damaging the hair.
T3 Featherweight Blow-Dryer | I use the blow dryer to lock the hairstyle into place and give the hairstyle a clean finish.
Marcel Curling Iron | In the video you will see me use this iron to prepare the hair the braided layers.
